in 1985, at 15 years old, lance started his first job at aylor's farm and garden store and he stayed throughout high school. in 2012, the aylor brothers asked lance to return and in 2021 he became their general manager. after 40 years of service, the aylor's decided it was time to enjoy retirement. lance then became the new store owner, renaming the store after our beloved cat, george. possibly the most popular cat in forest, va. lance and lena look forward to keeping up the vision, tradition, and long well known legacy of aylor's going strong.
